Today's diary by Harris:

woke up early to meet l'autobus but Pat was late so he walked to Royal National
onto bus to Dover seeing Black Hearth (on the way) as well as Big Ben
onto ferry after some wait...big ferry, crowded
landed in Calais and went to Amsterdam through Belgium
stopped at rest stop
arrived in Amsterdam around dinner time
nice hotel with cartoons
soup, salad (yum yum for Harris), chicken, vegetables, moussey dessert
went to town for private cruise with free drinks through canals, crazy girls
went home with bus
